Frequently asked

What is Comber?

An every-click AI QA checker. You point it at a web app, API, or native/desktop surface you own; it walks every reachable state, exercises the controls, and reports breakage with repro and screenshots — then leaves a cheap deterministic replay behind for CI.

Is my data private?

Yes — see our Privacy Policy. Comber redacts known secrets from run data before it reaches us, we don't sell data or run ad trackers, and we treat anything Comber surfaces from your app as your data, processed only to deliver the service back to you.

Do I need my own Anthropic API key?

Yes — you bring your own key, and the model calls run under your Anthropic account. Anthropic is the model provider.

Can I run Comber against any site?

No. Only run Comber against applications you own or are explicitly authorized to test — see the Terms. For untrusted or shared targets, use Comber's strict, write-gated mode so it won't exercise ambiguous or mutating actions.

How do I manage my subscription or a charge?

Subscriptions are self-serve: manage or cancel from your billing settings, which includes the Stripe billing portal. Credit-pack and agent purchases remain unavailable under release-contained-v2. For a historical credit pack or agent charge, or anything on a statement that looks wrong, email [email protected]. See the Refund Policy for the support terms that apply.

How do I delete my account or my data?

Email [email protected] to delete specific runs or close your account — we remove your run data and artifacts within 30 days.

My run didn't find something I expected.

Comber is exhaustive but bounded by its caps (states/actions/time) and by surfaces it can't see into (closed shadow roots, cross-origin frames) — those are reported as blind spots, never hidden. Raise the caps, or send us the run and we'll help you tune it.
